Dog Friendly Accommodation
We welcome well-behaved dogs to join you on your trip to West Down Farm. Our large self catering farm cottage is a perfect place to accommodate your favourite pooch, with ample space in the living area for them to sleep and large gardens for them to stretch their legs.
Doggie Fee
£25 per dog, per stay.

Dog Rules
Whilst we are happy to welcome you and your dogs to West Down Farm we do have a few house rules.
Please bring a dog bed, food/water bowls & towel.
Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or beds.
Dogs to be kept downstairs.
Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation unless crated.
You are responsible to clean up any messes inside the cottage or in the garden.
Any damage to the property by your dog must be reported immediately and may incur a charge, payable before check out.
We generally only allow two dogs to stay, any dogs over this amount is at our discretion.

Dog Walks & Beaches
The Tarka Trail is a 180 mile figure of 8 trail through North Devon. Two popular sections of the trail are from Barnstaple to Torrington and Barnstaple to Braunton these routes are a lovely walk along the river. North Devon has some beautiful beaches that allow dogs all year round. Please make sure you take notice of any signage at your chosen beach as some have restricted areas for dogs.

Dog Friendly Attractions
Castle Hill Gardens take a stroll around the beautiful gardens of Castle Hill in Filleigh home to the descendants of the Fortescue Family the Earl and Countess of Arran. Dogs are permitted on a lead and the gardens are open all year round except for Saturdays. For more information
